Who we are
Hi! We are a Mother/Daughter duo that began Knit4Joy in 2026. Over the last few years we’ve had the opportunity to connect locally and globally with the fiber arts community and are enjoying the inspiration, creativity, fun and joy knitting and crafting brings.
I, Siri, was a self-taught knitter and crocheter and began my fiber arts journey about 15 years ago, knitting only a handful of items before I took a long break to raise two young children with my husband. About 3 years ago, when my daughter Eisley was 9 she really began taking an interest in expanding her joy of crocheting and by 11 started selling her crocheted dolls. We saw an early talent as she was designing and writing her own patterns for the dolls and their accessories. She then dove headfirst into knitting last year and has blown all of us away with her talent – from cardigans to mittens, she’s focused.
My family is nestled in a remote small town in North Idaho, where we raise chickens, grow a garden, ski the mountains, fish and play in the lakes and rivers. Eisley and I also spend a fair amount of time with needles in hand, dreaming, creating, making and wearing all things woolly fiber.
In 2026 the dream for designing socks and beyond hit a full-on sprint for Eisley. With a little direction and coaching, she is now working through her first design patterns and sock sets and figuring out the social media world on a small scale. You may never see her as a YouTuber but her joy and passion will be the face behind Knit4Joy and I believe her style and patterns will quickly grow in the knitting community. Join me in supporting this young but talented Knit Designer as she opens her wings and soars to new heights, surrounded by a wonderful community of knitters and fiber artists.
